Our Story — Four Generations in Bloom

It all started with a dahlia my mom gave me, planted here on this mountainside. That single flower sparked a love that would shape everything we've built at Raven and Steel Farms.

Our roots run deep across provinces, from Saskatchewan to Nova Scotia, carrying knowledge and stories passed down through generations. My grandparents worked the praire lands with cattle and hayfields and that spirit of stewardship lives on in every seed we grow and every stem we gather.

My daughter and granddaughter are now part of this story, bringing fresh energy and vision to the farm while honoring the traditions that came before. Together, we grow dahlias, celosia, zinnias and so much more! Flowers that carry meaning, memory and a little bit of magic.

Every seed packet and tuber we offer is grown right here on our mountainside farm in South Canoe, Shuswap, BC. We select varieties for their colour, texture and character - curating colour palettes that bring the beauty of our fields into your garden. Grown with care, harvested by hand and sent to you with love.

Design Rooted in the Farm

Raven & Raine is more than a seed shop, it's a floral design studio rooted in the rhythms of the farm. We're passionate about helping you grow and arrange flowers that tell your story and we're excited to share that knowledge through upcoming design workshops and seasonal collections.
